The McCormick Lake recreation area is located at 1030 View Dr and offers a swimming area with dock, large and small pavilions for rent, a clubhouse suitable for weddings, reunions, or other similar events, and funyak, water toy, and fishing boat rentals.
McCormick Lake is private property, wholly owned by Compass Lake in the Hills. No power boats are allowed on the lake. Fishing boats using electric motors only are allowed.
Members may purchase an annual, boat ramp gate key ($16.00) at the office.
The McCormick Clubhouse may be rented for events by calling or stopping by the office at the lodge. The clubhouse will accommodate up to 96 people and includes 12 – 8′ tables, 10 – card tables, and 98 chairs of various types. There is a kitchen with full-size refrigerator, electric stove, sink and counter space. Two bathrooms are available (one is shared with outside guests). A small craft or dressing room is also included.

A refundable $100.00 cleaning deposit is required in addition to rental charges. The condition of the facility will be checked by Compass Lake in the Hills staff prior to refund authorization. Details will be provided at time of rental.
A large pavilion with grills and picnic tables is also available and will accommodate apx 35 people for 1 side and apx 70 people for both sides. Power fee (optional) $10.00 w/tax $10.75. Cleaning deposit of $50.00 is required for all rentals. Wristbands must be picked up from the front office before day of event.

A small pavilion with grills and picnic tables is also available. Please Note: This reservation includes admission for up to 15 guests. Additional guests beyond this number will be required to pay the standard entry fee. Wristbands and a signed waiver are mandatory for all participants and must be picked up at our front office prior to the reservation date.
